Terrelle Pryor won’t be the only member of the Oakland Raiders with an appeal pending with the NFL. This other one, however, is a little different. The Raiders are planning to appeal the distance on Sebastian Janikowski’s record-tying 63-yard field goal.

The team believes it was actually spotted from 64 yards out. The extra yard would bet the record previously set by Tom Dempsey (1970) and Jason Elam (1998) by one yard. “It means a lot,” Janikowski of the record, per Vittorio Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle.

“I’m not big on setting goals, but I wanted to be 10 years in the league, break the record or tie the record and win the Super Bowl. Those were my three goals, and I’ve got two out of three. “Hopefully, this year I get the third one.”
