This is fucking bullshit all these teams jumping around. So now an already weak Big East just got weaker and they are guareented a BCS spot.

NCAA should just section off the US and if you're school is in that area then tough shit you are in that conference, then there wont be any of this Boise St doesnt play and some of these small schools will get a shot at the bigger schools.

Im sorry Im old school the ACC to me is NC, Duke, NCST, Wake, GT, Virginia, VT

The schools would just leave the NCAA and form their own league then. The NCAA doesn't really have any say in this.

VT wasn't in the ACC until 2003-04.

And GT didn't join until the late 70s.

Replace GT and VT with Clemson and Maryland.

GT, FSU, TCU and A&M to the SEC right about meow would be perfect.

No problem with that as a fan, but I'm sure administration thinks differently.

GT's administration or Georgia's? I don't see why Dawgs would feel threatened. They already pretty much own the Atlanta media market anyway.

The reason I prefer Tech over Clemson is that they were an original member of the SEC. The academic reputation doesn't hurt either.

Though Clemson is probably more of a cultural fit with their stadium size, the actual existence of female life on campus, etc.

That is indeed why they left in the first place. I wouldn't mind Clemson but they would need to agree to stop aping LSU's stadium nickname and fight songs.

Georgia's. With them back in the same conference they feel that would help to even the recruiting field within the state.

Looks like we will end up with 4 distinct regions. Could be good for a playoff down the road.

                                EAST: Big East/ACC hybird
                                SOUTH: SEC/ACC spillover
                                WEST: Pac 12/Big 12 spillover
                                MIDWEST: Big 10/Big 12 spillover
