I don't understand why the Vikings would want another QB that can run but can't hit the broad side of a barn passing the ball, when they already have one guy like that, and Jackson has none of the baggage or PR issues that Vick would bring. That makes no sense to me.
Vikings, Niners may pursue Vick

Vick on Vikings=double vision
Tavares already looks exactly like him on the field. Same #, same facemask, same skin tone (damn near black) and the same glossed over, "I just took 5 grav rips from NAHSTE's Gatorade bong" look on their face.Comment

If he's even a slight bit slower than he used to be.. he's immediately in the bottom third of QB's in the league.. because the man cannot throw accurately to save his life.
Couple that with the fact that you would have a huge media circus every week he played.. and I just don't see many people going after Vick. Especially in a period in which many people are reluctant to spend money to go to the games.. spend money on merchandise.. etc etc.
The last thing owners will want to do is disenfranchise their own fans, bringing a lightning rod for controversy like Vick on hand could do just that.Originally posted by ram29jacksonI already said months ago that Seattle wasn't winning any SBComment

He's been in jail and subsequently out of football for nearly 2 years.. I don't think it's a great assumption to say Vick is the same athlete he once was.
