I don't understand why the Vikings would want another QB that can run but can't hit the broad side of a barn passing the ball, when they already have one guy like that, and Jackson has none of the baggage or PR issues that Vick would bring. That makes no sense to me.

Yeah, I doubt that's gonna happen. Michael Vick in Glendale would be hilarious.

Only issue is that Singletary has said that the team has mentioned interest in him, just not serious interest. That's where a lot of the rumors are starting from.

                  Vick on Vikings=double vision

Tavares already looks exactly like him on the field. Same #, same facemask, same skin tone (damn near black) and the same glossed over, "I just took 5 grav rips from NAHSTE's Gatorade bong" look on their face.

what? Their team is built for a pocket passer, you don't have 2 top 6-7 Wrs and they both are making (or going to) around 10Mil a year... You can't have QB that is not proficient in the passing game and likes to run. He is good for a team with either no idenity, a running team, a team with an awful QB already.

He's been in jail and subsequently out of football for nearly 2 years.. I don't think it's a great assumption to say Vick is the same athlete he once was.

If he's even a slight bit slower than he used to be.. he's immediately in the bottom third of QB's in the league.. because the man cannot throw accurately to save his life.

Couple that with the fact that you would have a huge media circus every week he played.. and I just don't see many people going after Vick. Especially in a period in which many people are reluctant to spend money to go to the games.. spend money on merchandise.. etc etc.

The last thing owners will want to do is disenfranchise their own fans, bringing a lightning rod for controversy like Vick on hand could do just that.

No way in hell. Not when you have Fitzgerald and Boldin. I do think that the Vikings should. The possibilities of Vick + Peterson are sick. The thing is, Vick is a liability in the way that he may not even be ready to play right away. The team that picks him up needs to have another QB that is at least decent enough to start, but crappy enough that getting Vick was not a waste. If I was a GM who wasn't completely desperate for a QB (Vikings), then I wouldn't waste high draft picks, or too many at all, for him.

Its been reported he was timed at 4.27 2months ago for an nfl scout . Might all be intrnet lies tho.

Unless I see it in a press release, reliable news source all 40 times a bunk imo.
