but I think what is so surprising is that he fell off so fast, and as a fan, my homer goggles wont allow me to believe he is really done, I think Harrison could come back and do things.

Think about it, how many people have said that people coming back from knee injuries usually need another year to come back and be like they were, the opposite side to this argument is that Harrison isn't getting any younger though. so either way it probably declines.

but as a homer I think he still has some fire in him.
Personally, I think he's done.. But IF he has something left, the best place for him to show it, is in Indy. Take the pay cut, end your career at the best place to end it. Marvin Harrison is not going to make a big impact in a place like Chicago or Philly. Why Bears fans would even want this guy, is beyond me, but I guess that's why they're Bears fans.

I wouldn't say "He's Done" just yet. I think he could still be very effective if used properly, meaning he's not going to be an every down reciever anymore. I do think his best bet is to stay in Indy but being that he won't re-negotiate to be paid what he is worth, not as an every down reciever, will probably make him fall off the map even quicker.

Marvin can still do a job imo.

Hey may very well come back to Indy if he can't pull the kind of money he thinks he warrants during the FA period.

Marvin definitely isnt going to get the money he thinks hes worth on the open market.

                  lol at the sig

This whole Harrison situation is a shame, but NFLs just business. Glad Colts won't / can't give him the money he wants, we need help in other areas.

I agree on this one, he was basically the 3rd WR and 4th or 5th option on offense alot of the year. That isnt worth 10 mil a year or whatever it was.

                      Wayne/Addai/Clark/Gonzalez/ plug in whoever here

I really don't blame the Colts one bit for not wanting to give Marvin what he wants, even after the stellar career he has had there. They desperately need the cap space.

What Addai is suddenly gonna find his balls and play for us now. Joseph Addai was a pussy all last season , right now i got 0 time for him. I hope Mike Hart sees the feild more next season , i really do.

Marvin Harrison isn't going to help Chicago, at all. The guy has Peyton Manning throwing him the ball, and he barely hit 600 yards in 2008. The guy is old, he's slow, and his better days are behind him. This guy has the balls to refuse a pay cut, and thinks he can get the money he wants on the market? Do you think Kyle Orton is going to somehow make him faster? Well, I find that highly unlikely, and if you think Marvin Harrison's washed up ass is going to make Kyle Orton look better than he already is, you're in for a huge disappointment. Maybe a few years ago, but not now - It's over.

Seems just a weird way for such a successful career with a team to end. It will be interesting to see who bites and what they offer him.

Yeah. They made one last effort, but Marvin Harrison believes that his 42 yards per game is worth more than any other below average, washed up wide out.

                                Let's see if he's right.
