One thing I've noticed with Brady and Manning though is that they have no problem getting in the officials ear after a missed call or suspect play...........I've seen Brady go off on an official about it, so maybe Vick should do the same. He needs to work the officials like basketball players do and he'll eventually get some of the calls.

As with Big Ben I think Vick is just falling victim to his own style of play and the style of offense. Its not that the officials don't see the penalties, but Big Ben and Vick routinely take big shots while still making plays. Both of these guys have to hold on to the ball to allow the play to develop, side step, run around and extend the play, so they're going to take some shots.

Clearly you've never watched a Bears game.
lol... yeah cutlulz may not complain to the officals, but he def, cries to the media and has been known to yell at the O-line coach. bringing up cutlulz in a discussion about qb toughness or be the strong silent type is laughable.

Why is everyone acting like Vick's line is complete shit? Doesn't he have 2 pro bowlers on his line?

Maybe Vick holding onto the ball for so long makes his line look a little worse than they are?

All I know is that people are talking like Philly has the worst O-Line in the league, and that is faaaaaaar from the truth. I can name at least a dozen teams in worse shape at the LOS.

Hasn't Todd Herremans made a pro bowl?

Even if Herremans hasn't made a pro bowl he has been looked at like a pro bowl caliber lineman.

Also I'm just throwing this out there because I'm not too sure, but didn't Jamaal Jackson make the pro bowl in his 2nd year as a starter?

I don't want to be hearing this awwww poor baby shit about Mike Vick, when we have seen Quarterbacks get tore up all the time due to a terrible offensive line, but not shed a tear of sympathy.

Dallas has a Rookie Left Guard, a Rookie Right Tackle, a 2nd year Left Tackle, a 2nd year Center who has never made a start before this year, and on top of that has never even played center before, and Kyle fucking Kosier.

Hear Tony Romo complaining? Tony Romo isn't getting boo boos on his hand and taking games off. Tony Romo was breaking fingers on his throwing hand and not leaving the game, and playing through it all. Tony Romo was puncturing lungs and breaking ribs due to his shit line and leading his team to victory.

I don't see Mike Vick having to worry about his center snapping the ball early over his head 3-4 times a game.

Quit being a pussy Vick. You always have been and always will be.

And by the way, all those cock suckers I trolled in the chatbox that day about how Vick was going to go back to being his old self, an average QB, well it's early, but we're on point.

While I'll agree that Vick doesn't help things by holding on to the ball too long, the offensive line IS part of the problem.

You are the first person I've ever heard classify Todd Heremans as a pro bowl caliber player. He's been solid at LG the last two years, but he was moved to LT and is having problems adjusting. Just look at all the false start penalties he had last week. And no, he's never made a pro bowl.

Jamal Jackson has never been to a pro bowl. However, it would be irrevelant because he's not even playing. Jason Kelce, a rookie 6th round draft pick is starting. And he's still learning to make line calls 3 games into this season.

Evan Mathis is the starting left guard. He was a back-up with the Bengals last year who hasn't has an NFL start since 2009. He's on his 4th team in 7 years.

Kyle DeVan was a Indy castoff we picked up the last week of preseason, who hasn't had an NFL start since 2009 (I think he missed last year with an injury?).

Which brings us to our lone pro bowl player, Jason Peters. Yes, he made the pro bowl last year, althought they must of done that on a small sampling of his work. He was hobbled for much of the year in 2010 and missed 3 games.

Before we start breaking out the violins for poor Tony Romo, for the majority of his career his line has been stocked with pro bowlers and all pros.

But you're right, he hasn't complained. But he's never really played behind a bad line before, so let's see what happens as the year goes on.

Vick was hit 13 times on Sunday, and there were two questionable no-calls. So does he have a case?

Not really. Refs miss calls all the time. In Week 2, Jason Babin had a pretty blatant late hit on Matt Ryan, but there was no flag. Just yesterday, Babin grabbed Manning's facemask as he sacked him, but there was no penalty.

I don't think refs are targeting Vick. The truth is, he's probably just a difficult player to officiate, just like he's a difficult player to block for and a difficult player to defend. Vick does things no other player in the league is capable of, which might be part of the reason he thinks he's being targeted.

ESPN's NFL Live looked it up, and only six teams in the NFL have benefited from more roughing the passer penalties than the Eagles since the start of the 2010 season. The Eagles have had more of those calls (5) than any other team in the NFC East.

Vick was frustrated Sunday, and understandably so. But the proof from the game shows he was probably off-base in thinking the refs purposely treat him differently.
So, just being a bitch after a loss is their conclusion.

                        My conclusion too.

I'll admit I gave you guys no shot of winning that game. But the Giants won the battle on the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, and Ahmad Bradshaw pretty much bitch slapped our secondary. That stiff arm to Nate Allen was almost like Marshawn Lynch in the playoffs. He killed us.

Point is, when you lose the game, get up on the podium, take responsibility for the loss, promise to work towards getting better, and take the loss like a professional. To me he sounded like a 5th grader who just lost a touch football game at recess. Grow the fuck up bro.

Or maybe he could learn how to read a fucking defense. Rodgers was sacked more times than any QB a few years ago, but he still succeeded behind that O-Line. Rodgers actually learned how to read a fucking defense and get the ball out quickly. Maybe Vick should stop bitching and actually learn how to play the fucking position.

No, it's about Vick getting hit. How about he learn the mental aspect of the position, read the defense, get the ball out faster, he doesn't get hit. That's all about Vick, the topic of the thread. Objection over-ruled.
