Since I was banned shortly after making this thread at Madden Mania, I figured I'd bring it on over here. It's time to see who some of my fellow VSN members believe to be the top 10 heading into the 2009 NFL season.

My list going into the 09 season.

1. Tom Brady.
2. Kurt Warner.
3. Peyton Manning.
4. Ben Roethlisberger.
5. Philip Rivers.
6. Eli Manning.
7. Donovan McNabb.
8. Tony Romo.
9. Drew Brees.
10. Jay Cutler.

Yes, Tom Brady gets my #1 spot, even though he has only had one good season.

This should be entertaining.... to say the least. Let's see them.

Its hard to rank Tom Brady because you don't know how he'll come back from injury. If he's perfectly healthy, I'd have him at #1, but if he's not then you can't really tell how far he'll fall.

If TO leaves Dallas, then Romo's numbers might take a big hit. So this is my forecast as to how they will be ranked next year...

I'm not trying to flame you here, but you lost all credibility in my eyes when you said Kurt Warner was better then Peyton Manning...

I mean, at first I saw you as a Pat fan who had similar arguments as a colt fan would.

Its hard to rank Tom Brady because you don't know how he'll come back from injury.

He really didn't use his legs much for scrambling. How much does he use his legs throwing? If much of his power throwing comes through the legs (like many QB's) then there really is no telling how Brady will do.

There are some QB's that can still get enough power into there throws, even with bad legs.

I remember watching Dan Pastorini play for Houston when he couldn't even walk. GB had another one back in the day with Lynne Dickey.

Give me your eval on Brady.

its just, thats the first time I've ever heard anyone say that Kurt Warner was a better quarterback then Peyton Manning.

good luck getting anyone to jump on that bandwagon other then a Cardinal Fan, and I don't think they will even be willing to blindly do that.
