Honestly i dont think the Eagles wrs/tightends are THAT BAD.

Curtis is a 1,000 yard wr when fit all season
Jackson looks like a stud so far.
Avant has great hands but isint a great wr.
Celek is developing into a good tightend.
Westbrook is the best ALL PURPOSE runningback in the league.

All that doesnt sound terrible to me.

Wasnt McNabb the one making all of the stupid throws and being on IR for damn near 2 seasons. Philly fans are already quick to love & hate anyway. If he'd never got into it with TO then they would've prolly never had that problem.

(For the record) TO was said to destroy a locker room. But then If you're with a Player (especially a QB) whos the leader and captain. Then why is it players siding with the WR. Something wasnt said about the whole conflict....

If they don't grab a WR. They should grab a bruising RB to back up Westy. Upgrading the Defense woud be a HUGE HELP too. The D-Line definitely needs more and bigger bodies, especially at DT.

Defensive motivation? The defense is far from the worries. Cole, patterson, bunkley are fine. then you have a lot of rotation on the other end, clemons (second season with the team, i am sure he will be much better) Parker ( started most last year wasnt bad) and Victor abramiri (sp) will be back he is a good run stuffer.

Asante isnt leaving, Sheldon is still good, they locked up hanson, Mikel is a beast, and then you have Dawkins, who is the true leader and insperation on the eagles. If they dont resign him they should go after the safty the raiders just cut.

either way they could move brown to safty, throw in lito and hope he plays like he did 2 seasons ago.

Give Mcnabb the weapons he wants. they have the cap room, and the draft picks to to it.

That defense is too inconsistant. they're good, dont get me wrong but they've allowed a lot of points this season. Their offense is fine, McNabb likes to hold the ball for a long time, that's one thing that hurts him.

The Eagles prolly have one of the fastest offenses in the league, there is no reason for him to say he has no weapons. You have to get the ball to where they are first.

I'm actually happy that McNabb is doing this, he can get what he wants. I know he wants two things, a good power back for short yardage, and that big name receiver (Both can easily be gotten at this point) But the eagles don't wanna spend the money.

well if having the one of the top 3 defenses in the league is inconsistant... then i guess it's a huge problem.

The defense averaged 18.1 points ranked 4th in the nfl in points per game. Dallas averaged 22.6. ranked 18th and yet the eagles let up a lot of points? I dont think so.

yards per game? 274.3 eagles were 3rd. what about dallas? 344 yards per game. a lot of points maybe but not the worst if they were the 3rd ranked in the NFL.

do u idiots realize they look good because hes makin them look good!!!??!!:einstein: didnt he do the same thing w/ freeddie mitchell, todd pinkston, james thrash and chad lewis!!!!!!!!!???? o sorry u never heard of those ppl right? just get this man a guy that defenses have to respect. teams just blitz us and run blitz all freakin game because the recievers dont get open (look at the second skins game omfg). a big guy would just calm those blitzes down and give him even more time to pick them apart and give westy some damn running room.

Freddie Mitchell sucked, Todd Pinkston was afraid of the ball, James Thrash had like 2 years where he was decent, and Chad Lewis had played like half a good year and had 2 good catches in the NFC Championship vs. Atlanta. Their current receivers are a lot better then those. Those receivers looked better then they were because they had a great trio of running backs in the backfield. Duce Staley, Buckhalter, and a young Brian Westbrook. Desean Jackson i believe will be a very good receiver for a long time, Curtis is a good #2, and then they have decent receivers after that. (who are just as good as the receivers you mentioned above and their backups)
