    NFL Films Releasing Entire Catalog

    Associated Press

NEW YORK -- The entire NFL Films DVD catalog will be available digitally for the first time.

    NFL Nation

The league said Monday that more than 115 titles could be purchased through iTunes, Best Buy CinemaNow and Vudu as part of its new distribution deal with Vivendi Entertainment.

Previously, only a limited number were available through iTunes.

This is the first time NFL Films has granted both digital and physical rights for its home entertainment business.

The videos include Super Bowls, team histories and classic games.

    Great!

I've been asking this of NFL Films for years. Up to this point, you have to pay $50 for any of their titles...which is ridiculous because they could all be made available digitally for peanuts.

I got a lot of classic games that I could probably upload if you guys were interested, if the game has a name I probably have it.

all they are doing is tranfering all the old stuff that everyone knows about like every company should anyway...the fact is, they are still holding back,..they have hours and years of footage that has never been seen and they need to get on the ball and get it out there for sale etc. ...the NFL network isnt nothing but a repetative piece of crap either, especially during the off season...they should be showing tons of classic old games during the off season..but the only time you get classic footage are those stupid top 10 /follies junk.....and the Americas game series is great except for the more recent ones...the younger guys are still vain and havent had time to think about the past and connect it as a story and are worried about looking cool on camera..it makes the last 5 superbowl retrospectives look very lame
