BCS rankings = evidence of lunacy

Visit ESPN for the complete 2024 NCAAF season standings. Includes league, conference and division standings for regular season and playoffs.

Oklahoma State has had a nice year so far, and they'll probably lose to Oklahoma and go into a tailspin so they won't be a factor in the BCS race at season's end...but...

I was surprised that they were ranked #4 overall, and then I saw the reason why: they are ranked #1 overall in the computer rankings! They've beaten UL-Laf, a terrible Arizona team, Tulsa, an overrated Texas A&M team, Kansas, and a Texas team that is on the edge of the top 25.

Compare that to LSU...beating Oregon at a neutral site, NW St, a ranked Miss St, at #16 West Virginia, Kentucky, a ranked Florida team, and Tennessee.

    I don't get it.

GT has the lowest rating from the computers of anyone in the top 25. Even the computers know they suck.
