Carson Palmer traded to Oakland and "fans of shitty teams try to outshit each other"

I also forgot trade a stud HB for a 3rd string QB.
As for Palmer, the guy gets way more criticism than he deserves.
His career stats aren't bad at all - 154 TDs, 100 INTs, 86.9 QB rating, 62.9% completion.
Considering that he has played in the toughest defensive division in the NFL over the last 10 years for a team that routinely lacks talent and you have a guy who has pretty good career stats.
His record is 46-51, but like I said, he played for the Bengals and was constantly competing with the Ravens and Steelers, who are both good to great year in and year out.
Is Palmer even a top-15 NFL quarterback?
This trade shows why the Raiders need to be sold and a proper management group put in place. My Twitch video link: http://www.twitch.tv/dave374000

Listen, obviously the Raiders overpaid big time, but they are in a position to make the playoffs and they're obviously in a win now mentality. Im not sure with the conditions are on the 2nd 1st rounder, but if the Raiders win the division and win a playoff game with this talent, is it not utlimately worth the move for the Franchise? If Palmer can come in and manage the game and lead the Raiders to some success the price really becomes irrelevant. Its not as if the Raiders obviously didnt attempt to acquire for less (or god id assume any GM would atleast try to). Oakland was put in a bad spot with Campbell's injury and they did what they had to to get a legit NFL starting QB behind center.
And LMFAO @ all the people who were saying Palmer wouldnt even warrant a 4th or better in the off-season btw. @ anyone who doesnt appreciate the value of a quality serviceable starting QB in the NFL.Comment

He didnt and everyone will soon see. He is 31, the Bengals getting what they got was a direct reflection of how shitty a GM they have there in Oakland. Is he a "quality" or "serviceable" starting QB? Cant be both. I damn sure wouldnt be throwing away 1st rounders for a QB who is just serviceable.

I actually had written quality at first, and erased it to "serviceable", or atleast I thought I erased it.
People were saying in the off-season the Bengals wouldnt even get a 4th for dude, and they bagged 2 1st's.. and the ONLY thing it goes to show you is how much starting QBs are valued in the NFL, even mediocre ones. Noone should've ever doubted that.Comment

When I saw the thread title had "fans of shitty teams trying to outshit each other" in the title, I readied my age old Lions are the worst team ever arguments. I was prepared to swat away any teams challenging for our title until I remembered we are 5-1 and no longer in the bread line.
