I don't really care about that, I care more about the cheap shot he took by shoving a dude to the ground 3 seconds after the play. That, coupled with the brash reaction to a possible injury is enough to make me say you need to chill a bit.

I like Suh a lot and I get that he gets paid to hurt QBs, but do it between the whistles is all I ask.

Yeah so he got heated and pushed a guy. It isn't like he took out his knees or something, he pushed him down. The Falcons were going at our guys and we were going at them. It was a heated game and thats that.

They show it at the end of this. The shot seemed completely unprovoked to me, especially since Hawley wasn't even blocking him on that play. But I agree, it was a physical game and sounds like both teams were pretty fiesty with the jawing and exterior activity.

If it happens on the field leave it on the field. If he had a problem with Suh and could have done something about it then he should have. Obviously Roddy didn't have the balls to show Suh his true feelings without using the media to guard him.
Or he's just not one of the dirtiest players in the game like Suh is.

He was finishing his block against another player. Sure he held it for a little too long, but all he did finish the block (cleanly), turn around and immediately get shoved to the ground by a third party.

              Classic.

Anything after "if you had watched the game like I did" is not worth reading. Reminds me of the classic MM line that would always get tossed around: "Do you even watch football?"

lol @ some of you calling Suh one of the dirtiest players in the game or a cheap shot artist.

Much like Roger Gooddell has pussified the game of football, he has also pussified the fans.

Suh is and should be one of the most feared defensive players in the league. Deacon Jones and Jack Tatum are laughing their asses off right now.

I never said that. I just said he needs to do it between the whistles, which Deac and Tatum would agree with.

Shoving a guy who isn't even looking at you does not make you fearsome. I love Suh's game, always will. He's a stud and should continue to have that fire. But he has delivered a few questionable late shots after the whistle in his young career. The Lions are going to continue to have that "dirty" rep as long as they employ Nick Fairley and House of Spears Suh. I don't think Suh is a dirty player, but I can see why he has that perception. And perception is reality with NFL fans, unfortunately.

Fairley, on the other hand, is absolutely dirty.
