Damn talk about trimming the fat. They're really trying to rebuild in Tampa I see. Warrick Dunn was pretty productive for them last year. Brooks has been around forever man. Hes the longest tenured Buc, no? Longer than Barber me thinks. The NFL can be a grimey business.
I would imagine the Bears would place a call to Derrick Brooks and see if they can get him. Also wouldn't be surprised to see them get Dunn to try and be the chnage of pace to Forte.
Maybe the Lovie Smith/Miranelli/Jerry Angelo connection will pay off.
I worked security at Bucs games and I got to talk to a lot of players every week.
Hilliard as great a guy you'll ever meet but he just wasn't producing as much as the Bucs wanted him to. Sad to see him go.
I am glad Brooks and Galloway are both getting released. Both are way past their prime and just needed to go at some point. I hated the way they would react to the fans before and after the games also. Bye Bye both Derrick and Joey.
Really wish that Dunn was gonna be back for another year. He was a good guy to stick back there when Graham needed to catch his breath and Caddys yearly injury.
Same can be said with June but they have plenty of LB's I don't think it will hurt them.
I'm curious to see if Derrick Brooks can still be an impact player. He never seemed to do that much this season for TB, but its not as if I watched every game.

Dunn would be a nice scat-back compliment to Forte, actually. And id love to have Brooks last few years on our weak-side.
