Let it be known that I think Brees barely scrapes the top ten and I'm doing this to invigorate and annoy Nuk to the point where he actually has to dig up NFL.com information and make an argument based on it.

I hate Drew Brees and I wish him nothing but more losses in the future.

    That said...I'd do him again.

Drew Brees isn't surrounded with the right "crew" to succeed. Bush is a bust and McCallister is a bum. Colston was injured most of the year and a few of the bright sports [Vilma, Moore, Brees] isn't enough to get this team to the playoffs. The argument about Brees sucking is null due mainly to the fact that Brees supplied All-Pro numbers while on a bad team. This is the exact argument used against Peyton consistently. He's 7-8 in the playoffs, does that make him a bad quarterback? Or does that make his supporting cast better?

Let me ask you how many times you've actually watched Brees? Have you seen him in a real game, in real life? His mechanics are excellent, and he's got excellent instincts in the pocket.

You say Brees isn't a great quarterback. I say he doesn't have a great supporting cast.

Anyone can pull NFL statistics, and since statistics apparently mean everything, he's a horrible quarterback. Would you say the same thing about Peyton Manning, or Donovan McNabb?

For the record, I'm not a Brees fan, he's a Boilermaker, it's in my blood to hate him. On the contrary however, I will admit he's a great quarterback, just like I'll readily admit that Brady is a fantastic quarterback [I'm a Colts fan, therefore, Brady sucks cock, like any Blue Crew guy].
How is Reggie Bush a bust?

He was having a solid year last year before getting hurt.. I mean, yes he hasn't lived up to the crazy expectations created by ESPN.. but Reggie has been solid.

I think a lot of people forget he's only 23 (24 for the 2009 season) as well.. he still has a lot of good years ahead of him.

He is ignoring arguments that support Brees, so you've wasted your time.

Each day I will list a quarterback that's better than Drew Brees, since Drew Brees first entered the NFL back in 2001.

              One quarterback per day.

              02-26-09: 1:40 am Eastern.

Rich Gannon: One of the most pathetic pieces of human waste in sports history. Also one of my personal top 5 most hated NFL Quarterbacks/Human beings.

              Career Record: 76 - 56.
              Post Season Victories: 5.
              Super Bowl Appearances: 1.
              Super Bowl Victories: 0.

He was an average quarterback with an average skill set, but he managed to win football games with what he had. I wouldn't spit in the guys direction, but Rich Gannon will always have the pleasure of being.... better than Drew Brees.

Quick question. Did Drew Brees break into your house and beat you when you were a child? You have a pretty healthy hate for him. I don't think i've seen anyone go through so much trouble to show their hate for a QB, gotta be an interesting backstory to this.

my dear friend gonzo, logic is not used when talking to nuke, he only uynderstands basic things. like fuck you and I know you are but what am I. your post was well thought out and even better in it's presentation, but it is sad to say it has been wasted, like silk on a pig.

To me the real problem with Brees is he's a bit of a phony baloney type. His confidence (at least the depth to which he portrays it) is false. I don't think he really believes in himself at the end of the day.

One time he hired a trainer in the offseason when he was here in San Diego, subsequently had a good year partly because he was on better shape than before. When it got out that he had hired this particular trainer he was PISSED. Didn't want anybody other than himself getting credit. I think he does all the charity shit for his image.

I completely agree about his confidence issue. That's been questioned by a few of the so called ''experts.'' You can almost tell by looking at his face during his late game ''mishaps.''

                          Nice info by the way.

                            It's speculative.

I was assuming it was a fact.

It's my first time hearing about it, too.

I groaned at you for being a stupid putz who took Hellisan at his word over his speculation.
