I agree with the thoughts about missing Sproles. He has been huge for the Saints this year. MF'er is running full speed when he takes his first step. His acceleration is incredible.

Agreed, I had started to say in my post that he was filling the role vacated by Reggie Bush circa the Super Bowl year but he is better than Reggie Bush in that year.

San Diego are a crappy football team when we can't rely on Rivers to get us multiple game winning drives per year.. He needs to hit some form, our next 3 are winnable games: vs Broncos, @ Jaguars, vs Bills. Season isn't over yet but it will be if we drop any of those games

Yea it is surprising he is having a down year, but everyone has them in a long NFL career really. It has really shocked me since he has a lot of his main weapons. I haven't got to watch SD some this year so I can't really point out what else is at fault. I do remember against the Raiders their starting LT when out and their back-up was a piece of shit, dude couldn't block a high school defensive end.
