His suspension needs to be uplifted immediately. Is Leonard Little allowed to play in the league? He killed somebody.

Our country states that once you are released from prison, you have the right to seek employment once again. He did his time that he was given BY A JUDGE. The man is a football player and needs to be on the field. I am not saying what he did was good, it was awful. But he served his time, now get off the man's dick. Dude lost 140 million dollars, I am sure he knows the mistake he made was serious.

Nobodies on his dick, but Goodell is an asshole, you can bet he's gunna try something to keep him from playing this season, i see an issue between Goodell and the NFLPA about it in the near future.

It's bullshit if he has to spend more time out of football, his NFL suspension started last year...

The man has served his time... let him play.

RICHMOND, Va. -- Imprisoned NFL star Michael Vick will be allowed to finish his sentence under home confinement because there is no room at a halfway house for him, a government official told The Associated Press Thursday.

Vick is serving a 23-month sentence at the federal penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kan., after pleading guilty to bankrolling a dogfighting operation at a home he owned in eastern Virginia's Surry County. He also admitted to participating in the killing of several underperforming dogs.

Vick's lawyers have said they expected him to be moved any day into a halfway house in Newport News. But because of a lack of space, Vick will be released instead to his Hampton home at some point on or after May 21, said the official, who has knowledge of the case but requested anonymity because the individual was not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.

Vick will be on electronic monitoring and will only be allowed to leave home for activities approved by his probation officer, the official said. He is eligible for release in July.
I wouldn't say he's been RELEASED just yet.

Uh, no. He has served his prison sentance. So far as I'm aware, he has missed zero NFL games thus far due to league suspension. So while he may have paid his debt to society, he has yet to be punished in any punitive way by the league. And given the league's heavy push towards off-field discipline, I would be surprised if they let him right back in. Especially given the fact that he directly lied to the commish.

"From the time he hits the court, he plays at a competitive level that you rarely see," Popovich says. "He does the exact same things that Kobe (Bryant) does, that Michael Jordan did.

This is exactly what the arguement between Goodell and the NFLPA will be. The commish will prob want to keep him out longer. The PA will want him to play, and i know the coaches will cuz wherever he goes he's going to create instant revinue. Shit if he came to the bears i'd buy another vick jersey.

I dont think it would create instant revenue. There would be a lot of protesters and the media would be swarming that team which is why there arent many teams trying to get Vick.

Which happened in a different era in the NFL, at least in disciplinary terms. Same with the Ray Lewis incident. You can't use those as a precident to how the NFL should treat Vick, as the league's entire approach to off-field incidents has changed significantly.

I just sat through a 20 minute presentation hating on him the whole time in my sports management class. That was me venting at some dumb bitch trying to talk about football and hating him lol.

He paid his time, I think he would be much more suited as a Return guy and line him up in the slot.
I had to bring this up , how does he "suck at qb"? Ok hes not a typical qb but he lead the falcons on his back at qb to the con champ one year , had many 4th quarter comeback drives (vs steelers they came back from down 17 to tieing the game) . Hell look at his NFL qb TD to INT rate , it aint bad at all. Hes not a spectaular qb in the terms of "making all the throws" but to say he sucked at qb in his prime is redicolous.

It will create instant revenue. No matter what he did he was still electric on the field and people will pay to see if he still has it.

The protesters and media are really just giving the team he goes to more coverage and might even produce more revenue. Fans that liked him before he went to jail and have since stopped following him will jump back on the bandwagon.
