            Didn't see that one coming!

Cool thing is Ray Lewis can be involved in a murder, win super bowl MVP and still get laid.

              Key Match-ups for tonights game.

Ravens S Ed Reed vs. Jets QB Mark Sanchez

Sanchez played well last week against the St. Louis Rams, completing three of his four passes, including a 48-yard connection. But, the Rams don’t have any playmakers like Reed, who will make the rookie pay if he makes an errant throw.

Ravens C Matt Birk vs. Jets DT Kris Jenkins

The new Ravens center will get his first big test of the year opposite the massive Jenkins. Jenkins did not play against the Rams because of a calf injury, but could take the field Monday night. Birk did not have to see Washington’s Albert Haynesworth, so Ravens fans will get a good look at the free agent signee against a Pro Bowler if Jenkins plays.

ugh, that D didnt look like they lost a step at all. of course that was the jets, not a 6 time super winning, number one defense havin' ass whipping ready machine like the steelers.

Thought I'd post that. The view from my seats. I've had those season tickets for...6 years now. I wouldn't trade them for anything, not even that girl coming up the steps.

In other news, the Ravens really need a WR. I can't believe a guy that we signed off a tryout and who was no more than a ST guy for the Patriots is our #2 currently. Stunting Flacco's growth.

he's not. Mark Clayton is currently rehabing a injury and Demetrius is our slot receiver. Kelly is our 4th or slot (in some cases). You will see the same duo during the season of Mason and Clayton. Which seeing Flacco fling it to Mason was a thing of beauty. Specially against a defense with some damn good DB's.

Washington was running as the #2 against the Jets, over Williams. I think thats more an indication of how bad Williams has to have been playing. Of course, he's always been all hype by Ravens fans.

I think we can scrape by with Mason and a healthy Clayton and combination of the others, along with a healthy Todd Heap for most of the season, but if Mason gets hurt, theres no way. We are done. We aren't beating the Steelers or Patriots or Colts or Titans with Clayton and *insert random name here* as our starting WRs. We'll have a tough enough time as it is with Mason healthy.

But that is an if. Lets just hope he stays healthy. Mason, Reed, and Flacco are IMO the top 3 most indespensible players on the Ravens.

My roster prediction, with only the guys I think are locks:

                              QB (3) Flacco, Smith, Beck
                              RB (3) Rice, McGahee, McClain
WR (4) Mason, Clayton, Washington, Williams
                              TE (2) Heap, Smith
OL (6) Gaither, Oher, Yanda, Chester, Birk, Grubbs

DL (6) Gregg, Pryce, Ngata, Bannan, Kruger, McKinney
LB (6) Lewis, Suggs, Johnson, Gooden, McClain, Ayanbadejo
CB (4) Washington, Foxworth, Carr, Webb
S (4) Reed, Landry, Nakamura, Zbikowski

                              K (1) Hauschka
                              P (1) Koch
                              LS (1) Katula

That is 41 locks. SO 12 spots. +1 to RB, +1 to WR, +1 to TE. My guesses for those would be Parmele, Harper, and Jones. +1 to DL. +1-2 to LB. +1-2 to CB. Not sure who gets those. I like Talavou's chances on the DL. Think Phillips and Ellerbe could make it at LB. CB will most likely be Walker, and then someone else possibly. I think the safety position is set. I have no clue what happens on the OL. I think they'll sign someone off the scrap heap that can play OT and keep Cousins and Hale around for another year.

                                I'd say Phillips and Barnes.
