Favre would be an ideal fit for this team. Only 8 games left that's as many games he can play at this point and he has a deadly offense around him. If they were smart and didn't care about the criticism they would get they should sign Favre.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Matt Leinart does well the rest of the year. From all accounts, Kubiak loves Leinart and he's coming into a very good offensive situation. He's not reckless with the ball, but he won't exactly make plays either. Expect lots and lots of checkdowns.

As for his Arizona tenure, he was fine under Dennis Green, but never meshed with Ken Whisenhunt. Whisenhunt likes to motivate through tough love and constant competition, while Leinart is the type of player that flourishes when he's coddled (for a lack of a better term) and allowed to grow into the job.

I think that would be the worst possible thing they can do.

Well Leinart is said to love this offense under Kubiak because I believe it resembles the USC he played in...so we'll see.

So its also not like he's starting off his tenure as starting QB against fierce competition and he gets to be eased in.
Yeah thank god he gets to play such a soft defense. Jags D is only ranked 4th in the NFL this year.

The Jags are 5th in pass d but are now without Rashean Mathis. I'm not convinced that secondary will be very good now. We'll see. The Jags defense as a whole has played very well to this point though.
