Southern Miss is the toughest. I don't see them winning that game. That's assuiming they play in the C-USA Championship game.

Why June Jones keeps getting relegated to these reclamation projects is beyond me. He deserves a big time job.

That's #110 on the strength of schedule out of 120 teams.
I stand by what I said. They are playing a a full schedule of exhibition games.

They are worthy of being national champions if they win every game and beat LSU, or even better, win a playoff. But they will never get the chance in this lovely system THE CARTEL has set up.

I wish there was someone on here who defends the BCS for me to argue with, all these scenarios are why college football is a joke. I just watch the games and dont even worry about all this.

Hahaha, I thought there was another along with JH who defended the BCS. I for one want chaos, as chaos may be the only way we can see some change. Then again, I like LSU so thats my conundrum.

I agree that they are the toughest but unless Case gets hurt or it rains hard in one of those games (he was horrible in 1st half of Rice game when it was raining hard), I don't think their offense will be slowed down by those teams.

One of the many things i would change about college football is the division alignment format within a conference. LSU & Alabama are clearly the 2 best teams in the SEC, but a shit team like Georgia will be in the conference title game instead of Alabama, and it will be a blowout. Same thing will happen in the Pac-12 where Oregon & Stanford are clearly the best, but in the same division, so title game will be Oregon vs Arizona State. The conf championship should consist of the 2 best overall teams, not the winners of each lame division. After that you have a legitimate winner of each conference, and you pick the top 6-8 conference champs to have a playoff.

When will common sense & college football finally merge?

Another stupid situation that may occur would be for LSU to defeat Arkansas and Oklahoma to defeat OK St., but then have LSU and Oklahoma lose in their conference championship games...giving us a national title matchup of Alabama vs. Oklahoma State, when neither school won their own division, much less their conference.

Reminds me when Oklahoma lost the Big-12 championship game to Kansas State (got blown out actually), but still made the BCS championship game. Conf championship games are nothing more than a glorified regular season game.

But what happens if the teams play twice in this set up and they split the matchups? More BS.

I think the division set up is fine, but the BCS needs to add a stipulation that to be in the NCG the team must have won their respective conference.
