Does anyone else think Domonique Foxworth is one of the most overpaid players so far in free agency? 7 million a year for a very, very average corner.

        Wow. Sean Considine?

OK, so my understanding is that RayLew burned bridges in Baltimore.

Obviously, the Jets aren't signing him now.

With Vrabel being moved, do the Pats make a play for him?

Ray Ray on Belichick's D is a frightening thought.

I still haven't seen a report of Denver signing B. Dawk. Are all you guys just speculating or is there some proof somewhere? All the sites I have checked either mention nothing of the signing or just mention that the two have spoken.

CBS4 reported that it is a done deal.

The Broncos are close to signing LB Andra Davis. I guess this means the Broncos are not interested in bringing in Ray Lewis for a visit.

After quickly patching a couple small holes on offense with career backups who project as starters, the Broncos have gone about overhauling their defense with proven starters.

The Broncos are engaged in serious negotiations with free-agent linebacker Andra Davis, according to a source close to negotiations. Discussions have focused on a two- or three-year deal.

A six-year starter in Cleveland, Davis, 30, is an inside linebacker from a 3-4 system, who was second on the Browns with 90 tackles last season and has averaged 103 tackles the past six seasons.

The Broncos also brought in starting safeties Brian Dawkins of Philadelphia and Miami's Renaldo Hill for visits today.

Dawkins, Hill and Davis would headline the Broncos' free-agent group that also includes running backs Correll Buckhalter and J.J. Arrington, receiver Jabar Gaffney and longsnapper Lonie Paxton. Buckhalter, Arrington and Gaffney already have signed four-year deals while the Broncos agreed to a five-year contract with Paxton.

Dawkins, 35, is a seven-time Pro Bowler while playing his entire 13-year career in Philadelphia.

Should Dawkins, Davis and Hill sign, the Broncos would continue scouring the free-agent pool for a starting right cornerback, nosetackle, at least one defensive end and possibly a backup quarterback.

and the Ravens are going to pull money off the table each time another teams spot gets filled, thus reducing their original LUDICROUS offer of 3yrs and $24 million with $17 guaranteed.

I can't remember the last time the Chargers made a big name free agent signing. Maybe some time in the early 90's?

The pick could be as high as a second-round choice in 2010 and as a low as a fourth. But the eagles will get two picks and the Jets get Sheppard, who will be in New York Saturday for a physical.

Yeah, the Jets D should be a major improvement this year. I'm also very curious to see how the Skins D will perform with Haynesworth.

Jason Brown agrees in principle with Rams

Brown was hoping the Ravens would match the Rams offer, but it's believed that they were $1-2 million per year short. The best interior lineman available, Brown did not visit with any other teams. We'll wait for contract terms before confirming that it's an official signing. Feb. 27 - 8:57 pm et

Ok tough guy I got you LOL what kind of problem would that be LOL

ESPN.com's Chris Mortensen reports that Albert Haynesworth's deal with the Redskins is effectively for four years, $48 million.

The $100 million figure looks good to his agent's potential clients, but Haynesworth isn't likely to see the last half of the contract. Haynesworth is due a $29 million "poison pill" in salary and bonuses in 2013, his age 32 season. It's possible that the contract will be renegotiated down the road, but the important number for Haynesworth is the $41 million in guarantees
