Al Harris to IR, Rams set record?

Al Harris is the 9th CB the Rams have placed on IR this season. They have one CB remaining from the training camp roster (Justin King), and King is hobbled with an ankle injury and may not play Sunday.

I would think that nine players at one position has got to be some sort of record. Is there any way to confirm this?

Harris started the season as the 5th CB and barely played, but due to the injuries he had been starting the last month or so. He was playing remarkable well, very much a bright spot on a team with very few.

I'd like to see him come back next year.
