Skins agree to $55M deal with DeAngelo Hall

Redskins agreed to terms with CB DeAngelo Hall on a six-year contract with a $55 million max value. The deal includes $23 million guaranteed.
Our first post-free agency period signing is a doozy. Hall has had an up and down career, but his on-field ability cannot be questioned. The 25-year-old has the ball skills, speed, and man-to-man cover ability to be top-ten cornerback. For the second straight offseason he's getting paid like it. What the fuck is happening? I just finished reading an article about how professional sports teams are hemorrhaging money, and some NHL teams might fold, some NBA teams might move, etc.

And Daniel Snyder continues to write his monopoly money checks. Why give D-Hall any money? Dude is a fucking bum.

He has ability, sure. But dude just does not listen to coaching. I don't even think he was backpedaling most of the time during the last year with the Falcons. There was one replay in particular of a game when Chad Johnson put a double move on him.....and Hall never bent his waist once during the whole play.

Dude is fast as shit and for that reason never learned how to cover in college. Then he shined on a vanilla ass Cover 3 defense in Atlanta where everyone was picking on the other guy, so he looked like a future star....Only to find out once the corner opposite him didn't completely suck, that he is a huge liability in coverage.

They gotta be required to dump Jason Taylor now. You cannot tell me they can take all this, plus his $8 million salary (particularly when they are just going to use him incorrectly again this year and waste his talent). Taylor hasn't openly said he will take a pay cut either, partially because I don't think he likes it in washington and wants to leave. I recall when the Redskins were eliminated, Miami Herald did a piece on JT with him saying he was still rooting for Miami and was texting players in week 17 for the big Jets game. Plus he still said he never got use to putting on that garnet and gold.

lol at you talking about Redskin haters. If they didn't throw around 155 mil on 2 players who could very well be busts then nobody would be talking about them at all. Never have I seen a thread that was bashing the Redskins lol.
