I thread where everyone says, "Hopefully it works out for them and they make the playoffs." would be really boring.

The people saying that Haynesworth isn't going to play well are just looking at previous trends. He has only had 3 big years and 2 were contract years and 1 was senior year in college. IMO he is not going to break out of the trend.

Those years especially last year he was as dominant as a DT can be.

If he hadnt tailed off he wouldve had the most dominant DT season Id seen since 92.

The potential of Haynseworth and Taylor on the same line is scary. Taylors going to see a lot more 1 on 1 now even if he is 100.
Best reason to have a license.

I read the same thing how this can make they look with a healthy Taylor now and Hynesworth.

            Lets go get Ray Lewis.

Im really excited now about this coming season. I'll definatly drive the 4 hours to go to a game.

Ehh... I wouldn't have gave him 100m if I was a GM... one player isn't worth that... you could get very solid players for that price.

In 1976, Riggins signed as a free agent with the Washington Redskins,[3] who offered him a four-year, $1.5 million contract, compared to the $75,000 he earned in his final year with the Jets.[11] He was used mostly in short-yardage situations in his first season with Washington and missed much of the 1977 season with a knee injury.[11] However, he gained more than 1,000 yards each of the next two seasons and was a major part of the Redskins' offense.[11]

We'll see how he reacts to all the money, but Redskins coordinator Greg Blache usually gets the most from his lineman and Haynesworth is the best free agent available in a decade. In a market full of mediocre players, he's worth it. Life just got far easier for Jason Taylor and far worse for NFC East opposing centers.

So they really arent on the hook that much.
Andre Gurode and Bigg Davis laugh at that notion.

Haynesworth won't be causing us much trouble.

Okay seriously.. how the hell is this NOT tampering?

You don't just come up with 100 million dollar contracts on a whim.

I don't get it either. Gibril Wilson was already signed to a contract prior to free agency even starting. Obviously there was talks prior to the start.
