    i find this thread unacceptable!

thread title fail....yeah, browns will kick the skins ass this weekend. 34-17. you see, the browns, for the first time since 2007 and 4th time in 23 years have a team that is a contender for the playoffs

when you have a team that sucks so badly for so long you cling to any hope for excitement like your team just won the super bowl. the fans around here are really jacked about the slim chances the browns have at making the playoffs. the team feels it and the energy in the crowd on sunday will carry the browns to a win!

The Browns and Redskins are pretty much the same team right now. Can't really find a reason to hate the Browns.

I would be pretty excited too. Well, I am as well. Browns are headed in the right direction, and I've been rooting for them to get back into things for a couple years now. I just hope that they give Shurmur another season, he's really got the team playing well and deserves it after the start to the season.

By the way, my guess is 31-24 Redskins.

RGIII will be wearing a knee brace in the game. He said that he can plant and throw well, but obviously taking tough cuts on his knee can't really be simulated at game speed. I'm OK with that, just make sure we keep him in the pocket and only roll him out for passes and keep the scrambling to an absolute minimum.

yeah it seems like he is going to play. i would rather he didnt play so we have a better chance of winning. but i still wouldnt mide watching him play...i figure if he plays he wont be 100% and maybe his injury will slow down their offense

the game should be good. the browns dee has been playing well all year and improving. The offense is still really inconsistent. so many wasted opportunities and periods of time where they just cant move the ball

the other thing we have to worry about are pat moments. he hasnt had one in a few weeks, but during the begining of the year he had so many wtf moments that helped them lose or even cost them the game

I expect RG3's stat line to look like this

              17-22 165 yards 2 TDs 0 INTs

Lot of screen passes and quick slants to avoid being hit

True, but that also means you've got to contain some serious speed on screen passes, and deal with Alfred Morris running the ball a ton. I still expect some rollouts but I can't see him taking off much or running any drawers.

we will most likely see the Pocket Passer version from RGIII on Sunday......if he plays. its still Day to Day/Game time decision.

which is a plan so that the Browns wont be able to get a real defensive game plan together......just keep everyone guessing.

i have not seen much of the skins this year, but seems like the defense has some holes. i am curious to see how the offense plays vs the skins dee. gordon has been making huge improvements and little has turned into a nice compliment. We can move the ball, but run into those young team moments be it a int, penalty, drive just stalls and it causes us to settle for alot of FG.

Yeah, the secondary is beyond bad. Both projected starting safeties are either suspended or on IR, DeAngelo Hall always gets beat and Cedric Griffin is still suspended. The front seven is good, but it can't make up for the secondary.

this is a big game for cleveland. really getting excited to watch it. you just never know who is going to show up. will it be the anemic offense that bumbles its way through to the end and loses, or will it be the pumped up, show so much potential to be great team that could beat anyone and win.....you just never know

i can tell you this much, pat shurmur and tom heckert might get fired at the end of the year. but they have developed a great young team that has never quit on them. i just hope these guys have the character to play big when it counts.

i expect a bigger role for monterio hardesty this week too. 10-12 carries for 60 yards. shurmur regretted not allowing hardesty to score a TD last week on a drive where he was the main back and got them into scoring position. T Rich got the TD instead. Hardesty is running the ball better than TRich. but TRich draws way more attention because he is so talented and is a huge pass threat

The Washington Redskins are expected to start rookie quarterback Kirk Cousins over the ailing Robert Griffin III on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, the team announced via Twitter on Saturday night.

At a team meeting Saturday night, Washington Redskins players were informed that rookie Kirk Cousins will start at quarterback on Sunday at the Cleveland Browns, according to a text from someone in the meeting room.

Asked earlier if he had a gut feeling whether Robert Griffin III (Grade 1 LCL sprain) would be available, coach Mike Shanahan responded, "No, not really. We'll get a chance to evaluate him (on Saturday) and talk to the doctors."

Apparently doctors weren't entirely comfortable, as much as Griffin wanted to play.

Shanahan had been coy with his game plan heading into Sunday, not wanting to rush Griffin's recovery or surrender a competitive advantage to the Browns.

Griffin practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday through Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday. While Shanahan resisted giving percentages of practice repetitions, he did say Griffin looked better each day.
