My point is that Bush looks great right now. But as you said, HE FINALLY WAS HEALTHY. Shit, I wish the 49ers would have drafted him. But, I don't see teams being so desperate for a running back that they're going to give a 2nd round pick to a guy who only played really, in one game.

I don't either, but that doesn't mean the Raiders shouldn't see if there are any takers or any teams interested.

Difference between checking the waters, and expecting teams to trade a 2nd Rounder for a guy who the Raiders buried on their depth chart after 3 weeks and until the last game of the season.

Seeings how that patriots only got a 2nd rounder for Cassel I wouldnt expect anyone to give up more than a 3rd rounder. Especially since a QB is a lot more valuable than a RB and more teams are going to the multiple back offense and I dont think a team would give up a second round pick for that.

Yeah but the Raiders don't have Adrian Peterson as well. And they didn't franchise Bush to be their back up. Two totally different situations.

Which hurts their trade ability even more. They buried Bush on the depth chart, even after he had a good start to the season. He's considered the 3rd back on their roster. No one is worried about jacking the price up.

My point is that the Pats sold out too quickly. They could have gotten much more but since they have Brady they didn't need too. With that said the Raiders can get more than a 3rd because the Cassell trade is a bad one to base value off of.

the patriots didnt sell out to quickly. The trade puts them about 30 million under the cap with free agency just beginning. Now I dont see a point to the raiders trading Bush but it is Al Davis so you never no.

I think Bush can be a good back but he hasn't done anything to prove it yet. 1 game does not equal a 2nd round pick. Sure you can ask for it but I'd consider it a mistake for anybody to give up that high of a draft pick for somebody who has had 1 great game.

You have yet to learn. The first trade made is usually what the rest of the trades for that off-season are based off of. Same goes with contracts for rookies and free agents.
