Holy shit, this caught me completely by surprise.

I really hope B-Dawk can make a spark on that defense. Broncos could be a scary team next year if they can get some consistent D.

      This is great news.

I got sick of seeing him.

lol someone better? I HIGHLY doubt that unless it is some sleeper kid who plays out of his mind you will have a decline in that position

are you guys really saying that next year there will be a better player than Dawkins? I find that hard to believe. Dawkins brought more than just his play to the field. He also brought intensity second to none and was one of the more voiceful leaders in the nfl.

well mike P said someone better will be in his spot so that is what I was asking. It is a huge loss and someone better will not be playing that position next year. As a Dallas fan I am glad I don't have to see Dawkins anymore

CBS4 is reporting it is a done deal:

CBS4's Vic Lombardi has confirmed All-Pro Safety Brian Dawkins has agreed in principle on a two-year deal with the Denver Broncos.

The NFL veteran has spent his entire 13 year career with the Philadelphia Eagles...until now.

Dawkins arrived in Denver Friday afternoon shortly after 5 o'clock. He told cbs4 sports he has not yet signed the contract, but he is heading to Broncos headquarters and the contract could be signed as soon as tonight. No word yet on how much the contract is worth.

                I think someone is scared.

ESPN and John Clayton are reporting it is a done deal.

Raiders fans have nothing to worry about as long as Jay Cutler is the QB in Denver.

That guy shits the bed every time he sees an Oakland Raiders logo.

His performance to start the season says otherwise.

Yeah and his performance in the 2nd game of the season doesn't, neither do his career numbers. Don't make me whip them out again, GoblinSlayer, you know where this road ends.

                          16-37, 204 yards, 5.5avg, 1INT, 0 TD, 49.8 QBR.

Since when do Raiders fans have the right to talk shit? If I remember correctly you have been a failing franchise year after year
