For 13 years of service, HOF service, he receives this treatment, and thats all they have to say about the contract offer to one of the greatest players in Eagles history!? For 13 years he was the face of the Eagles and 12 of those he saved Reid's ass more times than can be counted.

Why would they pay him if they dont think he can do it anymore? thats dumb. 13years of service means nothing when its about the money. You cant pay some1 who you deem "not good enough for a 2year contract" just because of his name. Threatening a guy is going a bit too far dont u think?

This is a pretty good move by the Broncos but it really is just offsetting them cutting 6 guys 4 of which were starters a couple weeks ago. If they really think they'll get 4 starters out of the draft at the same talent level, more power to them.

I'm not sure how many Bronco games you watched, but the guys we cut were fucking terrible.

Mikell was better than Dawkins last year and a second team all-pro his first year starting. Probowl doesnt mean shit. Im laughing at all the Eagles fans all pissed off at the front office for not breaking the bank to resign a 35 year old safety. Dawkins will always be an Eagle in my eyes, but age was getting up there and his defensive skill are deteriorating. Eagles offered him two years, but he took the extra 2million allegedly to go to the Broncos. At the same time I have lost a little respect for him to leave for the money, but oh well he is gone and there are bigger holes for this team to feel.
