    Nnamdi carted off at practice

Eagles CB Nnamdi Asomugha sustained a left knee injury at practice Thursday and was carted off.
It's unclear right now exactly what happened to Asomugha, but the cart is always a bad sign. Although Asomugha has been a certifiable bust after signing a $60 million contract in July, losing their most physical corner would be a major blow to the Eagles. They are already without slot corner Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie due to a high-ankle sprain. Asomugha was expected to match up with Rob Gronkowski Sunday.

I wouldn't call Asomugha a total bust hes never been a complete CB but is a shutdown man to man CB. He gets lost in zone coverage a lot, but I will say im surprised by how bad his tackling has been he was always a solid tackler in Oakland. Hope all is well with him.

read its not as bad as it was made out to be

Reuben Frank of CSN Philly reports that testing has confirmed Nnamdi Asomugha avoided a significant injury after being carted off the practice field with a knee ailment on Thursday.
Frank acknowledges that Asomugha's Week 12 status is "still up in the air," but it's not a year-ender and "not as bad as it looked." Asomugha may have sprained a ligament, though, which would sideline him for Sunday's clash with the pass-happy Patriots
