    former nfl player chester mcglockton dies at 42

    Chester McGlockton, a four-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle with the Los Angeles/Oakland Raiders who played 12 seasons in the NFL, died early Wednesday morning. He was 42.


    folks are dying in their 40's left and right now. i am kinda scared. being 44....
    may he rest in peace.

      when you hit your 40s, you realize you dont have forever.... I had an anxiety attack a couple weeks ago, but of course you think its something worse when it happens....

          If he we was 335 while partaking in intensive physical cardo and working out 5 days a week...he probably dies at 600 lbs from a heart attack.

          Sadly NFL lineman dont do well when they leave the game. Eating habits stay the same while the workouts decline.
          Best reason to have a license.

            So true. I can't imagine what their knees must feel like after playing in the league for 10 years, too. Those guys must constantly be in pain.

            I can remember watching Big Chester when I was younger. He was one of my favorite Raiders because for a time because the Raiders didn't really have that many great ones in the 90s.
