I'm not sure how much better McNabb is than Caleb Hanie or TJ Yates at this point, and there isn't enough time left to integrate him into the system to find out, so signing McNabb is pretty pointless. If somebody claims him for the purpose to start, it reeks of desperation.

he'll go unclaimed and he'll join daunte culpepper in emailing the press every now and then for the occasional "why doesnt anyone try him out?" article when writers have nothing else to talk about.

Moss, T.O. , McNabb = all unemployed media hype offense

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that the Bears are not expected to claim Donovan McNabb off waivers.
Mort also reports that the Cowboys won't claim McNabb, and SI's Peter King reports that the Texans won't, either. McNabb is likely to pass through waivers unclaimed, making him a free agent on Monday of next week. The Vikings are still going to be on the hook for the remainder of his $5.05 million base salary.

          Nobody wanted him.

I can't think of a recent big name QB that fell the fuck off harder than McNabb did these past few seasons.

That Michael Lombardi guy said that if a team were to pick him up, they'd be smarter to do it Monday. Instead of having to pay his salary for this week when they know he's not gonna play Sunday.

                Meh, I don't know..
