Posey is a big-time playmaker, but he does have very suspect hands. Lots of drops over the years on easy passes (Most notably the dropped game winning TD against Iowa last year). You get the ball in his hands though, and watch out, he just makes plays. He's excellent at getting seperation, and he's very good blocking in the ground game.

The character issues are a bit overblown IMO. If it were legal issues, then yes I would agree, but these were NCAA issues over him selling his own stuff to pay for rent and tattoos, and getting paid too much by his employer for hours worked at a job.

He's also been referenced as being the leader of the team this year (Him and Boom), despite the fact that he's only been able to play in 2 games, and is said to be a guy that the rest of the team looks up to for his leadership ability and his work ethic.

Posey is absolutely a better NFL prospect than Robo IMO.

If I had to rank the receivers to come out of tOSU in the past decade in terms of being NFL prospects...

      1. Michael Jenkins
      2. Santonio Holmes
      3. DeVier Posey
      4. Ted Ginn
      5. Anthony Gonzalez
      6. Brian Robiskie
      7. Brian Hartline
      8. Dane Sanzenbacher
      9. Roy Hall

CBS ranks him as 100th best prospect and 11th WR. I'm not sure how I feel about him but I haven't seen TOO much of him. That being said would prob rate the WR's like this:

              1. Justin Blackmon
              2a. Malcolm Floyd
              2b. Alshon Jeffery
              3. Kendall Wright
              4. Marvin McNutt
              5. Mohammed Sanu
              6. Dwight Jones
              7. Nick Toon
              8. Joe Adams
              9. Jeff Fuller
              10. Rueben Randle
              11. TY Hilton
              12. Juron Criner
              13. Devier Posey
              14. Jarius Wright
              15. Greg Childs

Just going off what I've seen in games and heard from other people, prob a completely fucked list lol It looks like such a deep class that I'd be thrilled if the Panthers grabbed any of these guys

Nflman don't ever, ever, ever use Walter football to grade scouts. That guy is so unbelievably biased. He hates the Jaguars and the Lions because of Jacksonville's current GM and Matt Millen. Draftcountdown is a good site but they rarely ever update during the NFL season.

ESPN Insider does not even have a draft profile for Rueben Randle.

Man. Depending on what underclassmen come out running back is weak sauce this year.

Trent Richardson is pretty much it.

Lamar Miller from Miami is gonna go way higher than he should. Any other year he would be a 3-4 round guy. But its not a draft class where you get a starter at RB other than Richardson.

He was set at Slot WR for years to come until the random horrific injuries started to pop up.

                                I'd say he's done now.

I think Doug Martin could be a starting back in a two-back NFL system.
