According to NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora, league execs expect the Redskins to "make a move" for the Rams' No. 2 overall draft spot to select Robert Griffin III or Andrew Luck.

The Skins are expected to have competition from the Browns, and perhaps the Dolphins if they fail to land free agent Matt Flynn. Peyton Manning, who will likely be steering his own ship, won't find the depleted Redskins roster any more attractive than the prospect of facing his brother twice a year. In which case, nobody will be more desperate to land a young franchise QB by late April than Mike Shanahan.

Misdemeanor charges of marijuana possession against Alabama CB Dre Kirkpatrick were dismissed in a Florida court on Monday.

A projected top-25 pick in this year's draft, Kirkpatrick's stock is unlikely to be affected after the dismissal. Arrested on January 17 in Manatee County, Kirkpatrick was allegedly found to have 7.9 grams (0.28 ounces) of pot in his possession. The arrest occurred just five days after Kirkpatrick, a third-year junior, declared for the draft. Kirkpatrick claimed he did not know the marijuana was in friend Chris Rogers' car, and Rogers accepted the blame.

If I ask you to name 1 or 2 guys who can increase their stock THE MOST with the combine, which 1 or 2 names immediately come to mind?

QB Brock Osweiler, Arizona St. and WR Tommy Streeter, Miami.

Whitney Mercilus for sure. The other might have been Brandon Boykin, but with his injury, I have no idea.

Tommy Streeter is one but since he's been named I got a few more.

                  Juron Criner
Alshon Jeffery (If he measures a sub 4.5 40 and a good vertical the talk of him being end of 1st will turn to being a top 10 pick)

WR's are usually the ones with the msot to gain, followed by HB's, CB's and LB's and DE's

I've read Mercilus being compared to JPP in the sense that he has little organized football experience and is a natural pass rushing beast.

Josh Norman is a name to look out for. Chris Rainey is obviously going to get a lot of hype if he runs a 4.25 40 like some expect.

WR Alshon Jeffery, #SouthCarolina is training at St Vincents here in Indy. Sources say he's weighing 249lbs + running a 4.88 Forty
