I remember when Cutler had to beat the 49ers to get into the playoffs and fucking threw like 4 ints
Let me get this straight..

Jay Cutler also threw the ball more in those weeks than any other QB (im not going to dig to prove that, but the running game was depleted and they were relying on the passing game).
Please dont tell me you guys would rather have Matt Cassell than Jay Cutler. Ill fall out of my chair rite now..Comment

The kid has talent, and he could very well be a star one day.. But I haven't seen anything so far, that has me putting him even close to ''star'' status.Comment

No you dont.. because its never happened. Hes only played the Niners once in his whole career, and it was in his rookie season. He threw one pick and by the numbers it looks like he actually played pretty decent, even tho the Broncos lost.Comment

Anyone who considers Matt Cassell a young rising star is simply a moron to me. I refuse to acknowledge those people as anything but that.Comment

As is the entire Kansas City organization.
Who knows how many morons would have been exposed, if Matt Cassel had hit the open market.Comment

I could say the same about people who think qbs cant be judged by wins and losses in the regular season and playoffs. And think its more about stats and not wins.Comment

Id say they're morons too Archer. Where do I find these people?
And Nuk, you know how desperate NFL teams are. Their would've been a lot of morons. And they wouldnt feel anyways about it because if he fell on his face, they would just cut him and not look back. Non-guaranteed contracts FTW! Chiefs have nothing to lose by signing Matt Cassell, as moronic as I believe it is. But trading Jay Cuter for Matt Cassell would be flat out moronic. Chiefs are bad enough for giving up a pick for him. You'll all be laughing at the Chiefs come mid-season. No worries.Comment

I really don't care one way or the other about Matt Cassel, but seeing guys like Palmer, Campbell and Edwards leading NFL teams, I think the guy deserves a shot. I just think this whole Cutler/Cassel situation will lead to a couple more exciting games in '09. Until now, I never gave a shit about seeing either team, but now I'll be tuning in on game day when they meet.Comment

Last time I checked, the Broncos were winning that game until Jay Cutler was knocked out with a concusion. Enter Jake Plummer who lost the lead. Jay Cutler returned to the game, and led a game tying drive.Comment
