Half of the problem is gone, now they just need a new QB.

I think its a mistake but the showing we had the last few games didnt do anything to help him. If we would have just been competitive in any of them games he may have saved his job but the team just layed down every week after the Green Bay game. Yesterday was sad. Good luck to Rah but please no Jeff Fisher.

This is a team that needs to hire a strong hand. I think that Morris' message was lost because he was so close in age to the players. I think he's got a bright future ahead of him, but this just wasn't the right time for him to be a head coach. Give him another stop as a coordinator, and we could see him as an option in a few years.

There is some solid talent on this roster. It will be interesting to see who they hire.

The problem is that he was "boys" with too many of them. They lost respect for him and his position. Guys were constantly late to meetings, guys were answering their cell phones in meetings and leaving the room to take the call on top of it!

The inmates were running the asylum. A lot of the players were giving attitude to their position coaches. One of the worst offenders being DE Michael Bennett. A lot of them had the attitude of "Let me do what I do." They ignored coaching etc.

What I can say is that a lot of the players with those attitudes are very nervous right now. They know that the new regime is going to carry a heavy hand and a lot of them could be out on their ass.

Fisher is high on everyone's list..........its amazing what sitting out for a season or more can do to a coach's prestige. When Fisher was fired he probably had a prestige of about a C-, but now he's at an A. Same goes for Gruden and Cowher........can Brian Billick get some love?

Still see him in my town a few times a year, as his boat is still in the marina down the street. Dude looks happy not coaching.

Hopefully Bucs do get him, he's in Miami right now for an interview. Get this guy the fuck out of here. Look at his records in Houston/Tenn., they blow. I think he had 6 winning seasons out of 17.

Fisher set to interview on Wednesday. Bucs also have interviews set-up with Mike Sherman and Titans DC Jerry Gray.

No way they go with Sherman or Gray.

They need a big name to sell any tickets next year, and Sherman ain't that name.

Gray is a Rooney Rule interview.

Gray is sadly going to be a Rooney Rule interview, but I think he could do well in this situation. He's run his own defense before, and learned from Gregg Williams and would be the hardass coach that the Bucs need.

I still think they go with someone who has prior experience, but I hope that isn't Sherman. His A&M team fell apart this season after starting with lofty expectations which lead to his firing, and I'm just not confident that he could take control of the situation in TB. Sherman in my mind is a great coordinator, but not a head coach.
