    Playoff TV Schedule

Looks like it's pretty easy to figure out.

HOU/CIN is a terrible game, maybe the driest and least desirable NFL playoff game in decades. It's a virtual lock to be buried Sun 12:30.

PIT/TEBOW looks like the marquee game, with a big time team like PIT, and of course, TEBOW. This game will get the prime spot of Sat 7.

This leaves the two NFC games. I'd say it's a safe bet that the league would prefer either DAL or NYG in the Sun 5 slot. So that leaves NO/DET for Sat 3:30

    SAT 3:30 - Det @ NO
    SAT 7 - Pit @ TEBOW

SUN buried - Cin @ Hou
    SUN late - Atl @ NYG/Dal

I think Detroit-NO gets the Saturday night game, only because there is a secret provision post-Katrina that stipulates that the league gives New Orleans as many primetime home games as possible.

Don't forget that TEBOW is the only west of Central time zone home team, so the late SAT fits for that reason, too.

Could go either way, but NO didn't make playoff noise last year and Detroit have never been. I think Tebow vs a team that played in last years superbowl gets the nod.

Well I got all of this wrong.

NAHSTE nailed the Saints/Lions for Saturday night. TEBOW gets the late Sunday (#2) spot. Since they went Saints/Lions Sat, that meant they had to use an AFC game early, so the ATL/NYG game gets the death spot on SUN morning.

I'm fine with getting the shit early Sunday slot. Gets it over with quickly one way or another so I can adjust my boozing levels accordingly.

Damn, I'll be working. I'll be spending in the bar "doing stuff" on Saturday night. I should be able to catch the 4th quarter at least.

I'd rather watch Cinci/Houston than Denver/Pitt. Denver/Pitt is going to be over before the second half. I feel like Cinci/Houston will be a close game.
