About time. If you look at the last few drafts you will see how bad Polian is.

        Yeah!

        Blood Everywhere we celebrating!

Bill Polian fired. He's a good GM, arrogant bastard though who might be losing it as he gets old. He'll get another job and deserves one. Did a lot for the Colts but GTFO.

        Chris Polian. Nepotism LOL.

        Caldwell You're Next!

What a glorious, glorious way to start 2012...Looks like they'll let the new GM decide, Caldwell or Fisher. You gotta think Jeff is nutting over a chance to coach his idol.

            no shit right?

good for the Colts, if you want a shot at a real head coach, this is how you do it.

Bears should do the same thing, but Cutler / Forte's MVP campaigns this year probably bought them another season.

Fisher reportedly wants GM duties too or at least to select his own. You really don't want that.

I am terrified of the Rams hiring Fisher and the cronies he'll bring with him.

Whatever he wants is irrelevant. You only fire someone if you have prospects to replace them. Irsay has an ace up his sleeve.

Donnie Nickey would be your starting SS.

Well... reports are that Polian wanted to cut Peyton... Irsay said no, and apparently, JMV in Indy is insisting it will be a combo of Reggie Mackenzie and Jeff Fisher next season.

You probably hope the Bears keep Angelo.

If the Bears won't let Angelo go now, it sets them back another year in reloading talent on the defensive side of the ball.

The Bears will likely be in a similar situation as the Colts in a year or two if they don't start drafting better now.

I hope the Jeff Fisher thing is purely speculation. I'm not confident in that, maybe I'm misguided or ignorant, but we beat Jeff Fisher's ass for almost a decade - Peyton Manning or not, I think we could do better fishing for a guy like Cowher or even Gruden. (not saying those are viable options, just emphasizing I have no confidence in a guy like Fisher.)

Hire a real defensive coordinator too. please.

It's exciting though, purely because maybe we'll see a different type of team built, one that doesn't scrap every decent linebacker that comes through, one that emphasizes strong defensive play as opposed to "protecting a lead".
