Yes, I still have zero idea what your point is. None of the things that you mention have any connection between them. I don't even know if you are arguing against a playoff, or against the practicality of a playoff. You appear to be arguing that a playoff system wouldn't be any more meaningful/conclusive than the current Bowl Championship Series setup...but every time we start discussing that specific topic, you go off on another blithering tangent, stating "the letters B, C, and S will not be eliminated from the English alphabet...even with a playoff".
Could LSU lose to Alabama in the National Championship and still be #1?

2) My point is the BCS championship game should be treated like a championship game. The winner should be the champion. We shouldnt have a split title, is my point.
If Bama wins, they should be champions, LSU shouldnt be co-champs.Comment

2) It is the championship game. But you can't control what those crazy AP pollsters do. I thought I told you that 10 times now. If it were the championship game, then why isn't it sanctioned by the NCAA?Comment

I agree that the NCAA needs to have a clear cut champion. The problem right now is that you have a team that is #2 in most of the computer rankings, but #3 in the BCS that will not get a chance at playing for a championship. If the NCAA wants to have "clear cut" champions, then you need to start with "clear cut" rankings.Comment

I never disagreed with you, but part of my point is that the AP voters should vote for the winner/champion, like they do in CBB which was your example.Comment

Agreed. If ANYONE gets a share of the title, it should be Oklahoma State sharing with Alabama. If you lose in the BCS, you shouldn't be eligible for a championship, but I think (and hope) that people have that common sense.Comment
