The offensive game plan was terrible, the Alabama defense is really good, and it's really hard to beat Nick Saban three straight times.

Not worried about it, we know where they live.

We did not include enough plays that were designed to go forward.

There's no single thread for the game, rather like 4 of them so I'm just going to leave this here...

This is Tom Al-Betar from Tusc Menswear right next to Rent Richardson. He was supposed to be disassociated. Ummm...??

It seemed like every time Jefferson audibled, Alabama would switch their defense and Jefferson would be so stunned, he couldn't even handle the center snap. I kept waiting for the dreaded Jarrett Lee insertion.

This is purely speculative, and it's second hand info from a dreaded "inside source", but anyway .... a good friend of our family runs a small business that employs some players every summer, so he's fairly "in the know" ...

According to him, Lee has been like a zombie since coming to the sidelines after the second interception against Alabama in November. Even in practice apparently he's been a shell of himself mentally, and the staff has been trying to "find him or reach him, and he's just not there." He claims that had anything happened to Jefferson injury-wise, in the SEC CG, the staff was prepared to go with the #3, Zach Mettenberger, instead of Lee. Not sure if there's any truth to this but it wouldn't shock me. They both lacked mental and emotional stability throughout their time at LSU, so it's almost fitting that this is how it ends. Like most fans I'm just relieved to be done with the both of them and am looking forward to the Mettenberger era.

Mett > Kiel, and it isn't even really close.

I don't understand why Nahste is getting the brunt of the LSU hate when it should be equally dispersed between him and Knubb.

Nahste knows better than to think I'm hating on him. I watched maybe two minutes of the game last night and wanted to know from an LSU fan with all his limbs why he felt they lost.

Not even sure why there should be "hate" given ... our team went 13-1 and beat every team we played, including 3 of the final top 5. No reason at all for either of us to be ashamed.
