It also doesn't help the Giants are having major success.

I think the Jets are starting to catch on.
Yeah, he was totally unprepared for that divisional game against the Patriots last year.

He's gone to the AFC Championship twice in 3 years with Mark fucking Sanchez as his qb.

The Jets fanbase was pretty livid because of how much the locker room vibe was such at a low. They felt that since he didn't have a good gauge on what was going on that he lost the team. I'd say maybe around 25% of fans wanted him gone.

You could see fans moving away from Ryan's schtick but even Ryan acknowledged he won't be throwing around guarantees and being the one that places tons of heat and pressure on the team.

You will see a different Rex in the aspect of towards the media I feel.

I for one, don't want him to change...I mean this is what got him here, it's what made him an attractive head coaching candidate, part of his nature is his bravado and his confidence.

The talent level on this team was my main issue. We have studs and good players as starters...but the backups were shit. Our offensive line backups were horrid...we picked up most of our depth from other teams waiver wire after they were cut before the regular season.

The issue with Sanchez and the offenses inability to gel was mostly due to a BIG TIME disconnect between the OC, Sanchez and this offense. It's now coming out that the verbage to this offense may have been too much. Now, only time will tell if Sanchez will become a better QB through all aspects of the game. I tend to believe bringing in a new OC should help matters. I mean Sanchez went from throwing a solid deep ball with Braylon to barely throwing one this year? Now is that because the Jets had no deep threat, or the WR corps simply wasn't able to get downfield?? or playcalling??? These are answers I hope will be answered because Sanchez is really feeling the heat from this fanbase mostly and since he's connected to Ryan, his head will be connected with how well or poorly Sanchez does.

He is, he's still young...and I believe he has the tools to become a solid QB in this league. He's made strides in the redzone...he just needs to continue to want to work...he's always trying to get better so that's a definite good thing.

He's tied at the hip with Sanchez right now, they will go with both for next season. If Sanchez repeats the same #s they will give Rex another year to prove he can win without Sanchez if that doesn't work out he's a goner.

It's hilarious to see how much shit you talk about the Jets even though your team has yet to do anything in the past 21 years. You've made the playoffs 3 times in that span, and lost in the wildcard each time. Including a wonderful loss to the Jets 24-14.

I think if Rex has another season like the last one then he will be under pressure. It's a big year ahead for him. Needs to heal the wounds in the dressing room.

Then he needs Sanchez to have a hell of a lot better year than last season. Sanchez needs to buy into Sporanos system from the start. Also needs a deep threat. Plax was great in the red zone but outside the 20 he was average.

Rex also needs to make some additions to his much vaunted defence as well. Upgrades needed at pass rusher and safety.

Also as much as i love Rex and his brash ways i think he needs to tone it down a little this season until he can actually back it up.
