    Cut, Season Starter, Playoff Starter: QB Edition

    You're the head coach of the Patriots and you have 4 QB's at the start of training camp. You have to cut two, start one for the entire regular season, then start the other come playoff time. Consider the Patriots actual team roster, their current strengths/weaknesses and this years schedule.

    Your 4 QB's are
    Johnny Unitas (Prime)
    Brett Favre (Prime)
    Troy Aikman (Prime)
    Dan Marino (Prime)

      I'd say Marino in the regular season, he was lights out in that regard. Then take Favre for the playoffs since in his prime, he was a very solid leader under pressure.

      As for Unitas, I haven't seen enough tape to select him. Aikman was good, but I never thought of him as leading the Cowboys, I see him as being great with other great players around him, but individually, I wouldn't take him.

          Unitas hands down would be my playoff QB...

          my regular season QB wouldn't matter because all 3 of them would easily get that team to the playoffs

              I'll take Marino in the regular and Unitas in the playoffs.

                  Only three replies? Well I'd start off by cutting Unitas and Aikman and then start Marino in the regular season and Favre in the playoffs. For reasons already mentioned.

                      Granted, Unitas played in a different era, but he's an all-time great, he's in my top 5 best QBs to ever play the game. I'll take him in his prime over Favre.

                          I'm shocked at anyone taking Favre in the playoffs.

                          Unitas definitely in the playoffs.

                          Either Marino or Favre in the regular season.

                          Cut Aikman and either Marino or Favre.
