That's what happens when you end up sitting on the couch every January while other teams play in the playoffs.

So they basically "modernized" it. It's hard to believe the other one was already 20 years old.

Well, I do remember when the Panthers/Jaguars were included in Front Page Sports Football Pro 96.

Yeah I was getting the NFL expansion year confused with the year the Marlins/Rockies joined the MLB.

Still, I think the Panthers were due for a uniform upgrade. It's crazy that their unis seemed "edgy" when they first came out but have since gotten pretty dated.

At least they didn't go so stupid Florida Marlines-Maimi Marlines shit, and change their entire identity. I hate when teams do that, and kill what is their brand, just for the sake of being new. All the old logo's are just as good today as they were 100 years ago, and they don't need to be changed. Same goes for new teams. You want to change jerseys, and make things a little more modern, but don't fuck with what is already there.
All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

                    "rammer" and "cummings"

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

They're ditching the old font, which I liked. But it's alright.

I don't know if I like it, but it has grown on me a bit. Hopefully if they decide for new uniforms they are tasteful.

What? 3 Division championships, 4 playoff appearances a Super Bowl appearance and 3 NFC Championship game appearances? Since coming into the league that's more NFC Championship games then the 49ers, Cowboys, Buccaneers, Falcons, Bears, Rams, Saints, Seahawks, Cardinals, Lions and Redskins. And tied with the Vikings and the Giants, only Packers and Eagles have more. Nice try tho. Talking like this team is a laughing stock of the NFL.

Yeah at first nobody was wearing stuff like that really... now they are one of the more basic jerseys. I don't see the jersey's being changed much if at all, just the logo and lettering, looks less cartoonish.
