I don't know the specifics of what his Dad is doing to cause this, just that he's not pulling a Cecil Newton.

The state of Texas appears to have won the distinction for having the most Division I FBS scholarship football players as 371 signed Letters of Intent.

Florida, however, wins the bigger honor: It has the highest percentage of football players heading to a Division I FBS program.

The findings are part of the statistical analysis RivalsHigh does annually (and, we know, a few more signees are still coming in). This year, it shows that one of every 119 high school players in Florida signed a Division I FBS scholarship. That's far more impressive than Texas, where only one of every 455 players signed a Letter of Intent.

Florida, in fact, was one of just four states to have a ratio of less than 1-to-250 with Georgia coming in second (1 of every 194), Louisiana third (1 of every 214), and Alabama fourth (1 in 243).

In this ranking, Texas is behind the less heralded states of Hawaii and Utah. Of course, those states only combined to produce 37 recruits.

Texas is king in total number of players - it put some distance between itself and Florida (371 to 325). California (228), Georgia (165) and Ohio (159) are the only other states with more than 100 signees.

Vermont, Wyoming, Rhode Island, South Dakota and Maine were the only states that did not produce a single recruit. Four others produced just one, including Montana - where of the 4,632 kids playing high school football only Cody Carriger of Butte (Mont.) High committed to an FBS program and is headed to Oregon.
          Code:
          State Signees	Players	Ratio

Stefon Diggs announcing tonight at 6PM.

All that I know is that anyone claiming to know what his choice will be doesn't know shit.

              I know.

The school he'll attend has a new coach that is a pretty influential recruiter.

Locksley + his boy Wes Brown + the outta da woodwerks local push, with late word he's going to be announcing at a popular Terp bar...I just think common sense says Maryland, and I've been thinking Maryland was in the picture for the longest time...since Wes Brown committed there, actually.

Kinda like I see Neal going to Arizona...the outta da woodwerks local team sprouting up is usually a good tell.

And I didn't even need a scout subscription to know that.

I just had a feeling he was going to Maryland once Wes Brown committed there. They did real well in the DC area once Locksley was hired with Brown, Albert Reid, and now Diggs, they were all the top uncommitted local players (sans Goldman, Darby) remaining locally, and even Goldman considered them briefly, late, as did Ronald Darby.

Neal to decide on the 21st still. His choice has been made though.

Most of what I'm reading is that it's between Arizona and Notre Dame.

Apparently Neal wants to go to UA...His dad wants ND...according to some Arizona papers.

                            Listen to your dad...
