If Ohio State and Michigan fans aren't bickering back and forth, something is wrong with the world.

Of course I say this in a thread where I defended Michigan.

Tebow is great for Florida, but as a USC fan I would never want him on my team. He's a fucking crazy psychotic freak. I don't like those types of religious weirdos, they gets on my nerves.

And people act like Tebow IS Florida. I mean come on, it's not like he is leading a bunch of midgets into a lion's den. That team is flooded with talent and stars all across the board. They should be this good either way, but Tebow is a character so he gets his face planted everywhere.

I still hate Tebow and the Gators.

          But I love you, Riley.

I never denied that Tebow is a legend. Is he the best college QB I've ever seen? Far from it.

Is he even one of the most talented football players I've ever seen? No.

He's a legend because he is one of the greatest leaders ever seen on the field at the college level. He is a winner and will always be remembered for that. But I'm not going to sit here and act like he is the best football player I've ever seen play when he isn't.

Since you know nothing about me, I'll be nice.

I went to UF when Spurrier and Wuerrful won their first MNC in 1996. I went to my first football game in upstate NY when Florida visited Syracuse. I've been to more Florida football games than just about anything else (I had season tickets for 4 years, and try to go twice more every year).

I've been heartbroken with their losses, and ecstatic with their wins. Of all the Florida fans I know, I'm the most rabid and loyal. It isn't about one player...it's about the whole program, top to bottom. I'm just lucky to have Tebow on my team making other people look silly on the field...and behind their keyboards...when the "fullback who can throw" is a favorite to win another Heisman.

And, if you'd really like, I would love to do a JTV (?) broadcast of the BCS championship in Pasadena. And when they win, again, I may actually cry. A back to back title run would be fantastic. But then again, I have other things to do besides sit at my computer and talk about a game...like watching it with real people.

And as for who's underwear I'll sniff...I'll try Andre Debose.

A true college fan is loyal no matter who is playing. Be it Tim Tebow, Shane Matthews, Emmitt Smith, Jevon Kearse, Channing Crowder, Fred Taylor, Errict Rhett, Jeff Chandler, Noah Brindise or Terry Dean...it doesn't matter. Florida football is the end all, be all of sports for me, and I'm having the time of my life.

A fullback that can throw? Thats a ridiculous argument that lacks any merit whatsoever.

Even as a UT Vols fan, I respect that post. Doesn't mean I would give two shits if the Gators ceased to exist....just that I respect the post. ;)
