NFL Combine Odds: Bovada releases matchup props on 40-yard dash, vertical & bench press
Complete list of bets as of now. A lot of easy money on there.
Bovada became the first sportsbook to release player props in advance of the NFL Scouting Combine, which begins on Wednesday.
The popular offshore released props for the 40-yard dash, vertical leap and bench press. All props are listed in a head-to-head format, meaning you can take, for instance, Baylor’s Robert Griffin III (-140) to finish with a faster 40-yard dash than Wisconsin’s Russell Wilson (+100) — among dozens of other offerings.
A few of the notables:
The over/under for the best 40-yard dash is listed at 4.3 seconds.
The best vertical leap has an over/under of 42.5 inches.
Most bench press repetitions by one player? 43.5.
I haven’t had time to look through all the various props being offered, but figured some of you combine nerds can do my homework for me and identify a few props that seem to be way off. If you see one you like, tweet it to me at @beyondthebets along with your reasoning and/or evidence that suggests why the play is a good one.
In the past, Combine numbers aren’t as spot-on as you might expect, and there’s usually significant movement on at least a few of them. Here’s hoping you are able to find a few that are “off.”
