Don't get the two confused. Leach was hung up to dry.

He's a players coach. He just happened to not want to play a kid whose dad decided to intervene and was backed by the biggest media player out there.

      Wut?

      Vontae Davis
      Travon Bellamy
      Ian Thomas
      Arrelious Benn
      Nate Bussey
      Tavon Wilson
      Will Davis
      Clay Nurse
      Eddie McGee

and a few of his Virginia / DC kids that transferred played when they followed him to New Mexico, like Reggie Ellis and Ugo Uzodinma.

I think of all the DC/Virginia area kids they landed under Locksley, more played and saw the field then didn't, by a good margin...

Derrick McPhearson even played significant time for Illinois before he transferred out, and IIRC, he was the first big area kid that Locksley got to go to Illinois after he prepped after signing with UF. At Florida, he landed Derrick Harvey. Even a kid that didn't pan out, like Rahkeem Smith was on the team for a long time.

I kind of think you just made that post up or misremembered. Or, just projecting Evan Frierson on everybody from the area.
