    In most drafts, I'd say the Lions should trade down, load up on picks. But this draft is so thin, I'd say you've gotta take the best player available, and that's Jason Smith, imho. They've gotta take Smith, barring a Julian Peppers type of dominant pass rusher, that's the most important position on the field. It's a no-brainer to me.

        if i were them id go with aaron curry, with how bad they have fucked up on picks, just pick someone safe. besides, him peterson and sims would be one of the top lb cores in the league

          What this guy said. I still want them to go with Curry with the 1st pick, then take an OL at the 20th pick.
