I'm guessing once James Casey showed what he could do at FB, they thought Vickers was expendable. The sports stations are saying that Chris Myers is their #1 priority.

Casey's more of an H-back than pure FB, so it doesn't help their running game at all.

Can't justify bringing back a #3 at that price. Especially not when Austin's getting paid and Dez Bryant's continued improvement means he'll be due for a raise in a couple of years.
