Obviously this is a great signing for the 9ers if Randy is anything like what he used to be.

Is #84 taken on that team? I'd love to see him rocking that again.

Alex Smith ... your career is saved
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

Great signing for the 49ers. Gotta agree with KG, think this is going to be very solid signing addition for San Fran.

It'll be free again since Josh Morgan is probably gone now

Anyway.. Moss checked himself out of games with Favre and Brady throwing it to him.. color me reserved to think he's going to be pumped up to have Alex Smith slinging it to him.

Could be a great move, could be a disaster. We'll see.

I hope he checks out during games and disrupts the locker room.

Spoken like somebody who truly doesn't follow football closely enough to be posting in the NFL section. Have you seen or heard of the 49ers receivers? And don't name Crabtree he isn't an NFL WR yet and Vernon Davis is a TE. I'm clearly NOT a 49er fan... but this is a great signing for the 49ers regardless if he is what he used to be or half of what he used to be, because half of that man, either the Randy half or the Moss half... is better than what they have.

That run based team that relied on the passing game to win playoff games

If anything he would have more success on a run based team with no name receivers and a slightly less complex offense than he would in New Orleans learning an incredibly intricate system. I know its the cliche about Harbaugh being a hardass but still a player's coach... but I don't think Jim has any problem chewing out Randy's ass, and he clearly has no regards of past problems (Vernon Davis), he just wants to utilize what he has on a mediocre team that overchieved because they bought into what he was selling. If it works he will push it, I believe in him after taking a quarterback who had to of been feeling like a failure before this past season into a NFC Championship game quarterback. Getting great players too play good is easy, having good players play great is hard as hell and he did that. Randy is great, past his prime or in his prime... I believe he will be just fine.

A running team ? whats he thinking ?

even if he became humble over the last year, why would he sign with San Fran?
