The Redskins just paid 42 mil for a number 2 receiver.

How is this any different from every other year under Snyder's control?

Just posting this for some of you that are criticizing the Redskins. Yeah, I definitely think they overpaid Garcon, and that is a valid argument, but this isn't free agency from years past. There is actually a plan in place and the team is following it.

Also, there was someone who posted earlier that the money put together for Garcon and Morgan would have equaled the V-Jax deal. While I would have loved to add V-Jax, the Redskins started up negotiations and realized they never had a shot and quickly moved on.

They only had 12.5 million to work with so it couldnt be a FA period of years past. Yet and still they overpaid for a #2.

The team is operating as though that penalty doesn't affect them.

Snyder is joke and throws money around, thats all there is to it. sometimes Im ashamed to be a fan.

I guess if the RGIII deals blows up in our faces we really cant get any worse. Just keep making the Rams better with top picks.
