It's odd to see the Bears front office operating with smarts..

--Yesterday they trade two 3rd rounders for Brandon Marshall.

--Yesterday they sign Jason Campbell to a one year deal to be a back up QB.

--Today they resign McCown to be the 3rd QB. So they Bears officially have 3 QB's on the roster with decent NFL experience.

It's obviously very early but you can already tell a massive difference between the Angelo era and the Phil Emery era.

I'm sort of surprised Campbell signed on to be a backup....not that he's a quality starter, but he certainly isn't horrible.

Agreed......he could have gone to a place like Jacksonville and competed for the job, or be there to clean up the pieces. At the very least, wait and see where the dust settles with Manning and Flynn.

Hopefully Marshall doesn't have to spend some time in New York under the watch of the state...

Have to agree. The front office has been a liability for so long in Chicago that it has got to be refreshing for Bears fans to see smart decisions being made. As a Packers fan, I'm not looking forward to these offensive upgrades paired up with the always tough Bears defense in the 2 head to head match ups this season.

NFC North is going to be really tough for the next few years.

They also signed Eric Weems today. The WR/KR/PR from Atlanta.

Another really nice move given Johnny Knox's uncertainty.

I have a feeling Hester is gonna have a big year, teams can't just concentrate on him anymore which should open more opportunities.
