Count me among those who likes this move for the Seahawks. Seattle's the type of place where Flynn can have some success. As I've said in other threads, he's basically a white David Garrard circa whatever year Garrard played flawlessly.
I was never a huge fan of his while he was at LSU but I'm on the FLYNNWAGON now.
Flynn may have a division title fall into his hands after this...looks like Alex Smith will be headed to MIAMI...so the 49ers will be S.o.L when Peyton goes to the Titans

It only took Alex Smith a few hours to get over his anger at the Niners for pursuing Peyton Manning, apparently.
According to Jason Cole, Smith will not sign with the Dolphins unless the Niners sign Manning. Even if the Dolphins offer more than the Niners, Smith wants to be in California. In other words, he wants to swallow his pride and win.

You should probably watch a little more of Matt Flynn and Tarvaris Jackson then and revise your notes.
I would love to watch more Matt Flynn, but he never plays.
Dont act like you've formed some expert opinion on Flynn based on 8 quarters of NFL football. On the other hand, I saw Jackson play surprisingly well last season and play the best football of his career.
Jackson didn't play surprisingly well at all, he played like Tarvaris Jackson. And I watched every snap of Matt Flynn from his games vs the Pats and Lions and he played better than Tarvaris Jackson ever did at any point in his career.
